Lovely pair of Art Nouveau majelica vases manufactured in Paris in the late 19th century. Barbotine - French for majelica is a technique in which incrustations of slip are applied to the body. With vivid coloration and remarkably fine detail, this fine pair of Barbotine flower vases beautifully depicts lilies. Perfect for a mantel or buffet, such vases are considered extremely rare and desirable.
