Location: Baton Rouge

Exquisitely hand-carved in the classical manner of Louis XVI, this intriguing vitrine de musique features arched beveled glazing and glazed side access doors on the upper tier creating a display case, with a cabinet below fitted with a caned and carved door depicting musical instruments, which in turn is flanked by vertical partitions into which one would store sheet music. Boasting its original two-toned painted finish which has achieved a lovely patina over the decades, it was essential in its day before the creation of recorded music, and is the perfect choice for decorating a musically-blessed home.
