This charming pair of hand-carved statues of a merchant and young lad were created from solid French white oak, known for its hardness yet consistency of grain, making it a favorite amongst Northern European sculptors. Displaying the raiments typical to the 17th and early 18th centuries, each has a character all his own. Expertly converted to table lamps by our in-house staff, each features a hand-sewn silk shade.
Sold only as a pair.
