Found in a quaint seaside village in Holland, this pair of needlepoint tapestries have been framed with solid oak molding which has protected them for over a century. Windmills figure prominently in the scenery, with fishing boats sailing out for the morning's run the primary theme of one. Note the female figure walking toward the windmill in the right foreground of the other. Exceptional detail and extraordinary state of preservation!
