Pair of French antique oil lanterns, fitted with solid bronze quatrepod bases and brass mantels, were designed in France during the latter half of the 19th century during a period where things chinoiserie were all the rage. This pair is subtle in its design with an unusual glazing treatment that appears to have depth, with even more subtle embossed design in the porcelain. Electrified by our expert staff, each has been fitted with a hand-sewn silk shade.
