Utilizing select French walnut, the artisans that created this pair of chairs were inspired by Louis XIV, melding a baroque sensuality with stately architecture to create one of the most enduring styles in the history of furniture! This pair features the trademark high seatbacks and broad seats that are still comfortable to 21st century physiques. Gracefully scrolled armrests atop scrolled supports contrast with the straight-tapered and carved legs below, connected with double-lyre stretchers. Acanthus plume carvings add the perfect finishing touch.
