This pair of antique French Louis XVI fauteuils are exceptionally well preserved with original gold finish, and have been reconditioned for decades of service by our expert in-house staff. Upholstered in sumptuous silk on all sides, they are perfect for the center of the room. Upholstery shows some wear on the seat. The tailored classic look favored by Louis XVI is evident in the tapered and fluted legs, the Ottoman style oval seatback with carved floral accent, and the graceful arms and armrests adorned with acanthus fronds.
