In a departure from the typical whimsical wildflower and foliate motifs, the artisans instead chose to adorn this work with refined scrolls and fleurs de lys in the manner of the Bourbon Kings. Four graceful cabriole legs provide support, while the open shelf and rimmed surface provide convenient storage and a place for a lamp and such.
