Meticulously hand-crafted from choice French fruitwood and given a patinaed painted finish, this console is perfect for a grand entryway! Following the dictates of the Regence style, it features a subtly contoured apron adorned with cross hatching, shell and foliate motifs, which continue down the gracefully scrolled legs which are both strengthened by and beautified by a stretcher that abuts the wall and is adorned with cascading acanthus leaf foliate scrolls. Topped by a beautifully veined yet neutrally colored piece of Cararra marble, it is the essence of simplistic elegance!
