Crafted by master artisans from select French walnut during the final French empire, this handsome armoire features a bold chapeau de gendarme cornice lavished with a crest, floral and foliate carvings atop a full-length beveled mirror. Contoured apron with complementary bas relief carvings below is flanked by boldly scrolled legs carved with acanthus plumes and escargots. Even the side features an "S" shaped framing member that adds elegance. The interior is trimmed to perfection, as well.
