This absolutely superb set of eight chairs includes two armchairs, and was crafted from fine French walnut much larger than typical chairs of the period, making the set perfect for generations of enjoyment. Classic slat backs have been lavished with bounty-of-the-earth motifs and feature an arched crown. Turned and carved legs with double lyre stretchers add stylish support, while the mohair upholstery remains in very good condition.
Exceptionally rare to find in this large scale and in this condition!
