The elaborately sculpted seatbacks and aprons on this set of eight chairs is a remarkable feat of wood sculpting! Combining the carvings with finely turned seatback posts, legs & stretchers, the artisans used the fine French walnut to their advantage, then finished them off with burgundy leather for an opulent look. It's hard to find sets of eight, especially with two armchairs!
