Utilizing beautifully grained, select European walnut, this handsome set of eight chairs hails from Italy and accordingly integrates timeless architectural motifs from classical antiquity. The rectilinear seatbacks have been adorned with beautifully carved, ellipse finials, supported by stiles carved with classic husks. Accurately portrayed Ionic columns provide support, complete with abaci and volute capitals, beautifully carved foliate shafts, and reeded bases. Sturdy H-stretcher systems reinforce the durability, while turnip feet provide support.
