Utilizing the weathered, enduring beauty of an heirloom old-growth French white oak, the artisans of Lower Brittany crafted this 18th century Country French Vaisselier to last for generations, using techniques such as pegged mortise & tendon joinery, handed down by their forefathers. A simply contoured apron above complements the one below, following a classic French curve pattern that is repeated on the upper framework of each door. Intended to both store and display a family's fine china and heirlooms, such antique furniture pieces always took a place of honor in the kitchen, dining or breakfast area of the home.
