A classic French innovation, the vaisselier combines storage, display and serving ability all in one! This example, rendered from fine French red oak to last for generations, features timeless Country French lines with a chapeau de gendarme cornice presiding over the recessed plate rack, which is flanked by stemware cabinets and drawers lavishly carved with scrolled framework and fitted with full length barrel hinges. The same motifs are repeated on the buffet below, which also sports a bow-front center with four drawers and lavishly appointed with its original steel hardware. Contoured apron with shell & foliate motifs completes the look.
