Utilizing select French walnut, the artisans who crafted this superb commode fashioned the drawer facade en arbalette to resemble the contours of an archer's bow. Next, subtle floral and foliate carvings were added, then the apron was carved to match, and finally the top contoured and beveled for a casual elegance that cannot be easily duplicated.
