The elegance of the Baroque movement has been captured with a Country French flair in this charming trumeau, boasting its original painted finish with gold highlights that have achieved a lovely patina in the past several decades. With a painting on top depicting a young couple enjoying a summer day and each other's company, and a generous mirror below, both of which are beautifully molded and topped with shell & acanthus leaf carvings highlighted in gold, it features an earthy, neutral colored painted palette that shows its graceful aging with the beginnings of crackle marks.
