Lavish French walnut was used to great effect in the creation of this handsome draw leaf table, fitted with leaves that draw out in an instant for extra guests, then just as easily tuck back in. The parquet top leads the eye to the finely scrolled and carved apron, supported by subtly scrolled cabriole legs. Hand-carved embellishment depicts acanthus plumes, escargots, olive branches and wildflowers for a superlative Country French effect.
