This intriguing bookcase, found in Normandie, was crafted from solid French white oak to last for centuries. It features an unusual combination of a full length cabinet lavished with Gothic-inspired carved panels and forged iron strap hinges, plus two open bookshelves on each side for more accessible items or display. The four panel theme is repeated on the sides, sans carving, with bold full-depth feet to lift the cabinetwork off the floor.
