Perfect for adding an Old World touch to any room, this handsome Louis XIV-inspired buffet features a solid architecture with heavy, carved feet supporting the subtly contoured apron, all of which provides a base for the cavernous cabinets and drawers above. Hand-crafted from solid French white oak for generation after generation of enjoyment, it has been given a distressed painted finish perfect for a Paris Country or "shabby chic" look. It also features finely chamfered panels with just a touch of carved embellishment, complemented by the finely molded drawers above, each of which have been fitted with a cast bronze eskutcheon guard. The richly contoured and beveled marble top, however, almost steals the show with its sumptuous, rich veining and muted earth tones.
