This intriguing Bavarian tea set was designed for outdoors entertaining, and survives with its combination of pewter accouterments and hand-painted porcelain by Bareuther Waldassen. Wicker basket was used as a serving tray so that guests could enjoy both fair weather and a heart-warming drink. Set includes a warming base into which hot coals were placed to keep the tea warm for an hour or more!
