Superlative details were carved into the graceful bowfront of this elegant commode representing shell and foliates, accented by unusual cast bronze drawer pulls and keyguards. A fine piece of oyster-laden rouge marble has been contoured and beveled for a carefree surface. Boldly scrolled legs carved with shells provide support.
