This work by Renoirt ,influenced by the Impressionists, uses exquisite color combenation of carnations of bright red and earthy colors and texture of the pears with skillfull brushstroke. He added the lace tablecloth that is beautifully detailed along with plate and cascading grapes. The arrangement completely fills the vase spilling over on one side. The richness of this still life is accented by original gilded frame.
