Antique Italian Walnut Armchair ~ Dagobert is the perfect choice as an accent chair for the masculine decor!  Sculpted from fine walnut in a style that dates back to ancient Egypt and Greece, its curvaceous frame has been lavished with hand-carved detailing on the facade and even the stretchers.  The seatback uprights are topped with a scroll underneath which appears a gargoyle-like creature carved in a whimsical manner.  The gracefully sloping armrests feature intaglio carving and are tipped with a scroll that matches the seatback uprights.  Across the seatback itself, which has been hand-carved from solid walnut, appear scrolls, a shell, foliates and a stylized Florentine fleur de lys.
