Pair Antique French Louis XVI Painted Armchairs

Pair Antique French Louis XVI Painted Armchairs are a wonderful example of classic architecture expressed by the French and inspired by ancient Greek and Roman styles.  The oval, curved seat backs are connected to contoured, padded armrests, with a generous seat supported by four tapered and fluted legs.  The entire framework is adorned with grooving with very subtle scrolls at the tips of the armrests, and rosettes atop each of the front legs.  The painted finish has attained a lovely patina over the decades.  Original mohair upholstery in rose color is serviceable but should be replaced with your coordinating fabric.
