Pair Antique Queen Anne Armchairs were hand-crafted in walnut to emulate the English style, but performed by talented Dutch artisans.  The seatbacks are of the traditional form, with an urn shaped backsplat featuring an oval cut out, and carved with wheat, ribbon and acanthus plumes.  The seatback is contoured for comfort, and transitions gracefully into the armrests which are padded and tipped with acanthus plume carvings, overlooking the generous seat with the same upholstery as the armrests.  The apron features a subtle contour, and carved foliates in the front that complement the foliates on the shoulders of the scrolled legs, which are tipped with matching upturned foliates.
