19th Century Country French Vitrine ~ Bookcase is the ideal choice for a cozy office or study!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth indigenous oak, it has been masterfully carved with a floral basket flanked with shell and foliate sprays on the bonnet, with complementary carvings appearing on the rounded cornerposts above and below, and across the scrolled apron, which is supported by carved and scrolled legs.  Eight panes on each door allow an exquisite view of the family treasures or book collection within, supported by three glass shelves and lined with rose colored fabric for a beautiful finishing touch.  Because of the glass, should one wish to create a lighted display case, it's ready to electrify, although today's battery operated LED cabinet lights are an excellent option as well.  A multi-tiered crown molding provides a finishing touch, with a plank top allowing external display as the piece de resistance!
