19th Century French Louis XVI Mahogany Bonnetiere ~ Chiffonier is a rare example of the formal iteration of the more typical provincial bonnetiere.  In this piece, a tailored classical architecture has been employed, with exquisite imported mahogany accented with gold highlights punctuated with acanthus rosettes.  Although it appears to be a petite bonnetiere, the door opens to reveal interior shelves and drawers that allow access to linens, clothing, or anything else you wish to store!  The trim around the panels, as well as the fluting on the corners and of course the rosette accents are all made from brass to last for centuries.
