19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Vitrine

19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Vitrine is the perfect way to display a prized collection, family memorabilia, or even to serve as a small bookcase in a cozy office!  Hand-crafted from fine French walnut, it features classical architecture embellished by hand-carved relief including motifs that depict an heraldic crest, olive branches, rosettes and spiral ribbon trim.  A drawer appears at the very bottom which is embellished with egg & dart trim, foliates and a lyre at the center between two beautifully cast bronze pulls.  Fluted pilasters on each corner are decorated with a shell motif at the base, and combine with the intricate yet subtle molded detail to create a truly timeless look.  The glazed main door allows full display of your heirlooms and opens to access three shelves and four surfaces within.
