19th Century Bronze Letter Holder is an amazingly detailed casting with elaborate foliates in a pierced design that leaves a delicate effect. Dolphins in a heart shaped framework with cornucopias underneath take center stage on the front-most fence, with four more behind it graduating in scale. Set upon scrolled feet, such holders would typically appear within arm's reach on the desk, and today make very decorative accents for desks, bookcases, and other venues devoted to the written word.
