Pair 19th Century Bronze Andiron Bookends can be a charming accent to your decor, and are amazingly versatile!  Originally crafted as decorative items for a small coal fireplace, each depicts a well-dressed man seated, one with a pestle and the other with what appears to be a grinding wheel.  The bases upon which they are seated are amazing, as well, with relief work depicting the face of Bacchus, god of wine and merriment.  Cast from solid bronze, each can serve as a decorative element on their own!
Circa 1880s
Each measures 12.5H x 8W x 4D
