19th Century French Neoclassical Henri II Bookcase ~ Bibliotheque is a stately expression of a timeless style.  Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features a rectilinear architecture with subtle embellishments that include pyramidal panels, plinths and hand-carved fletching embracing a singular rosette on the crown.  Fletching also appears on the cornerposts which flank both of the cabinet doors, each with twelve hand-rolled glass panes and a rosette and foliate flourish at the center of the cornerposts from which the fletching emanates.  Tailored molding appears in abundance throughout the design, enhancing the classic appeal, with a bold crown above and bold base below, mounted upon bun feet.  Doors open to reveal original shelving which is all fully adjustable making this piece splendid for organization of your family memorabilia, books, or special collection.  The pyramidal panels on the lower portion of the doors allow storage of items not intended for display.
