19th Century French Walnut Bookcase in Neoclassical ~ Henri II Style is a majestic example of fine craftsmanship, executed in the finest indigenous furniture wood of Europe!  The bold, multi-tiered crown reigns over the piece, interrupted by corbels that appear above the turned, tapered and fluted columns on each corner, as well as the fluted pilasters flanking the center door.  Three doors with arched glazing afford a splendid view of the interior, boasting its original adjustable shelving.  The stately architecture includes raised panels surrounded by fine molding on the bottoms of the doors, affording more discreet storage down below.  The multi-tiered base molding complements the crown above, and is supported by bun feet.
