Antique Grand Liegoise Bookcase will make a spectacular statement in any room! The bold, triple arched crown overlooks four cabinet doors, each fitted with six hand-rolled glass panes. Centered on the top of the crown is a stylized shell and foliate carving, with bold multi-tiered crown molding cascading down to the mitered corners on each side. The sides feature a pair of raised & recessed panels, transitioning to the finely molded mitered corners embellished with carved foliates that match the motif across the bonnet above the doors. The lower door panels feature an expanded study on the same design, with shell, floral, foliate and cross hatching creating visual interest. A boldly molded base that follows the intricate contours of the mitered corners and stepped front, followed by turned urn-shaped feet completes the look. Doors open wide to reveal multiple shelves for lots of placement and display options, with the lower cabinet door panels providing more discreet storage. Hand-crafted and carved from solid oak to last for centuries!
