PAIR 19th Century Flemish Renaissance Stripped Oak Bookcases are a wonderfully rare find!  Exceptional artistry abounds from the bold crown moldings to the baseboards, with the touch of the sculptor's art in plain display for all to appreciate.  Three lions' heads with brass rings appear atop the gloriously carved pilasters depicting the bounty of the earth, with elaborate molding detail and attention to the flats adding to the visual appeal.  Arched glazing with a variation of dentil trim allow one to display books, keepsakes and family heirlooms above.  Below, two drawers carved to match the crown above create a central focal point, fitted with brass rings for pulls.  The cabinet doors below are framed by bounty of the earth pilasters matching those above, with geometric patterns in the molding surrounding the full relief lions' heads at the centers of the panels.  A boldly carved baseboard punctuated by rosettes and exceptional architectural form completes the look.
