19th Century French Louis XIV Bronze Chandelier with 12 Lights features stunning foliate motifs expressed in a variety of forms, appearing from the tips of the bobeches to the pendant finial below, and rising to the top of the piece.  At the top we see acanthus plumes forming the crown, with the intricate and varied form of the central shaft extending downwards to the main body of the fixture, which then flares out into an urn form and pendant finial.  Just above the urn form is where the finely cast arms are mounted, with an upper tier of six short arms placed above a lower tier of six more elaborate, longer arms. Note the fine detail on the boldly scrolled arms which includes acanthus fronds and bell flowers, not to mention the exquisitely cast bobeches.  Originally designed for candles, it has been cleverly converted to electric lighting by our professional electrician to provide your home with unparalleled ambiance and illumination for decades to come!
