19th Century French Faience Hand-Painted Lidded Vase ~ Urn is a beautiful example of the fine craftsmanship of French porcelains produced in the fabled region around Rouen!  Hand-made and meticulously hand-painted with an intricate design inspired by nature across the entire facade, it was designed to provide decorative appeal by itself, and when the lid is removed serve as a flower vase.  Featuring rich natural colors including cobalt blue, copper red, saffron yellow and olive green, it boasts stylized floral and foliate motifs in a multitude of expressions appearing all around the hexagonal form.
