18th Century Swedish Mora Long Case Corner Clock is a truly rare find indeed!  Designed to fit into a corner, which is usually dead space, it consists of two tiers, with the lower tier containing a drawer and cabinet for surprising storage!  The upper tier houses the pendulum cabinet and the clockface dial on top, with a lovely arched design adorned with corbels on the sides  and topped with gold colored carved birds and an urn finial.  The hand-painted dial features a rosette accent and is signed by the clockmaker, Mora.  A lyre appears on the pendulum cabinet door, comprised of hand-shaped molding and highlighted in gold.  Below, the casework is of a diamond shape when viewed from above, and features raised trim highlighted in bold, with a pair of angels in bas relief for added visual appeal.
Truly unique!
