Antique Country French Louis XIV Drop Front Secretary

Antique Country French Louis XIV Drop Front Secretary is a wonderful choice for form, efficiency and style!  The shallow depth creates a piece that has a minimal impact on your traffic pattern in the room, yet when the desktop is opened and supported by two pull-outs, it creates a very workable surface with faux leather top suitable for writing or laptop.  Cubby holes are great for storing small items and office supplies, and the surface hinges back up into closed position with incredible ease to free up floor space.  The drop front is finely carved with stylized shell, foliate and cross hatching, motifs complemented by the carvings on the undulating contours of the drawer facades below.  Three drawers provide ample storage for any purpose, and underneath is a contoured and carved apron supported by cabriole legs to complete the look.  Hand-crafted with pride from solid oak to last for generations!
