Antique French Art Nouveau Walnut Partner's Desk

Antique French Art Nouveau Walnut Partner's Desk is a stunning example of cabinetry, rendered in a style that is uniquely French!  The large segment parquet top catches the eye immediately, providing a durable work surface for both "partners".  Below that appears two fully appointed desks joined by a common work surface.  Each side has three exterior drawers, and six concealed drawers within the cabinet doors, which is actually an unusual combination.  Six raised & recessed panels on each side ensure that this desk will provide visual appeal no matter where it is placed in the room.  The apron and legs provide most of the style cues, with eight elegantly flared feet adorned with acanthus plumes, with an elongated repeating egg bordering around the entire casework.  The six exterior drawers feature tailored molded detail, and the cabinet doors combine restrained molding, raised panels and four turned rosettes on each door for a stately presence that will stand the test of time!
