18th Century Gateleg Drop Leaf Table represents the ingenuity of European furniture craftsmen dating back hundreds of years!  A sturdy spooled leg table that can easily tuck behind a sofa or along a wall becomes a large-surfaced table in an instant.  Swing-out gate legs emanate from each side while hinged leaves raise up to create the 52" x 58" oval table surface, then just as easily drop back down to reclaim floor space.  When open, the design has eight legs for amazing sturdiness.  Hand-crafted from solid oak planks to last for generation after generation.
