19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Dining Table was hand-carved from solid French walnut for a truly sumptuous, timeless look!  The ends are gently rounded to make a more traffic-friendly edging plus soften the hard edges of a more traditional design.  A simply molded apron encircles the entire beveled top, which exudes sheer natural beauty thanks to the highly desirable and prized wood.  Support starts with four column legs carved to depict quivers of arrows, connected close to the floor with a modified "H" stretcher that supports a colonnade at the center designed to provide long-lasting support for the center of the table.  Under the stretcher are four massive feet to provide a sturdy foundation.  Long enough for three large or four smaller chairs on each side, and enough overhang on the ends combined with the recessed "H" stretcher design to seat the Lord and Lady of the Manoir!
