Antique Spanish Colonial Dining Table in Solid Oak is a splendid example of traditional craftsmanship passing down from generation to generation, producing furnishings that would last a family for decades after decades!  Utilizing old-growth oak harvested from the foothills of the Pyrenees, the artisans skillfully created side supports in lyre shapes for an elegant yet tailored classic look, and set them far enough in from the ends of the table to accommodate diners at each end.  The legs are sturdily attached to the underside of the thick, solid plank oak table top, then connected with a fully mortised trestle that is shimmed in place in an undeniably well engineered fashion that has been consistent with furniture craftsmanship on the Iberian peninsula for century after century!
