French Louis XVI Parquet Pop Leaf Dining Table is an amazingly versatile table with timeless lines that hark back to the master architects of ancient Greece and Rome!  Louis XVI is responsible for the 18th century revival of the style, evidenced in this wonderful piece with the tapered and fluted column legs, elongated Greek coin around the entire apron, pyramidal plinth blocks and an incredibly stately presence.  The top, with its gracefully rounded ends, presents no sharp corners in the room.  More guests expected?  Slide the table tops out in both directions and underneath is concealed a leaf that pops out when needed, then just as quickly tucks back into its hiding place to reclaim your floor space.  Natural oak finish accentuates the natural beauty of the wood, and has been sealed for decades of enjoyment!
