Antique Grand Liegoise Louis XIV Buffet is a magnificent example of the exceptional furnishings that have been created in the region for centuries!  Utilizing dense, old-growth oak and inspired by the style in vogue during the reign of Louis XIV, the artisans created an intriguing facade with four cabinets, with the two center cabinets crafted in a bowfront fashion creating serpentine doors.  The spacious top which affords plenty of space for display and serving, is contoured and beveled to follow the lines of the casework below.  A huge centered drawer appears at the center in the bowfront form, which also carries down past the doors to the apron below.  Each of the doors is carved with stylized shell and foliate motifs, with elaborately scrolled and molded frameworks.  The rounded cornerposts and all three stiles are also carved with complementary artistry, as is the boldly molded architecture of the base support.  Brass key guards and hinges provide the finishing touch!
