Antique Country French Dining Table ~ Library Table represents a more sophisticated expression of the otherwise casual nature of the genre.  Diamond parquet top with half-bullnose edge treatment presides over the undulating apron carved with shell and foliate motifs on all four sides.  The legs have received the majority of the sculptor's attentions, with a very subtle scrolled form enhanced by stylized shell and foliate plumes depicted.  An intriguing double-lyre stretcher design maximizes foot room, and is connected at the center with an open violin-shaped design connecting to the underside of the table, creating visual appeal from top to bottom!  Hand-crafted from solid oak to last for generations.
