19th Century Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Schneller is believed to be Austrian in origin, and features a humble rural hunter in a rustic dwelling holding a horn.  Note the artist's use of light to highlight the peaceful countenance of his subject, while displaying humble surroundings and an open doorway indicating a life spent predominantly outside.  Re-framed during the early 20th century, the canvas has been repaired professionally and good for decades of enjoyment!
