Antique Framed Inlaid Wood Cityscape ~ Signed

Antique Framed Inlaid Wood Cityscape, signed by the artist, is a splendid example of fine craftsmanship at its best!  The artist has selected the roofline of a charming European city to depict various structures, of which at least three are churches.  In the foreground, a charming detail appears at the top of the largest structure in the composition ~ a stork at nest!  Using multiple species of fine hardwoods, the sculptor created this picturesque mosaic which required not only artistic ability, but exceedingly fine woodcrafting skills.  Using the different colors, grain patterns and orientations, a splendid picture emerges, set in its original frame.
