Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by A. Koller is a superbly composed rural scene that combines architectural interest with the landscape genre, plus a humanistic element in the left foreground.  A quaint country church appears framed by the surrounding trees and greenery.  Prominently placed in front is a well, providing a gathering place for the local townspeople, one of which is passing by with a couple of sheep, apparently headed to market.  The artist's style is influenced by post-impressionism but the realistic nature of the scene is most captivating.  Reframed within the last 25 years.
