Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Albert Pinot (1875-1962) is a lovely still life by the accomplished artist, who was known for a wide varieties of genres, including portraits, landscapes, figures and seascapes.  Active in the area around Brussels, his works are celebrated for his mastery of color and form, as seen in this lovely example.  The rich earth tones have been subtly used to tint the shadowy background for an interesting effect.  Even the vase itself has been adorned with flower and foliates to add intrigue.  Survives in its original frame.
